Ingredients
Scottish oatmeal
Pure water
Sea salt
Dash of cinnamon
Fresh or frozen blueberries
Organic seedless red grapes
Organic kiwi chunks
Mango chunks
Organic banana slices
Preparation
Cook 1 cup of Scottish oatmeal in 3 cups of pure water with the sea salt and cinnamon for 10 minutes until done. Stir well with The Porridge Mom spurtles to remove all lumps. An option is to cook steel cut oats according to package directions. When nearly done, stir in 3/4 cup of blueberries to form a very purple porridge.
Pour into 4 serving bowls or 2 if you want a hearty bowl of porridge and decorate with chunks of kiwi and mango, and finish with the red grapes.
Add some yogurt or creme fraiche and milk of your choice for a delicious breakfast or snack anytime of the day.
